Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Music app on Nintendo Switch with 13 new Mario Kart World Free Roam tracks, adding reorchestrations from Super Mario Maker, Mario Paint, and three entries in the New Super Mario Bros. series.
The update continues Nintendo’s ongoing curation of classic and modern Nintendo soundtracks within the app, which is available to download from the Nintendo eShop.
The new additions comprise five themed playlists and a total of 13 tracks.
Nintendo’s update organizes the material as follows: a "Free Roam with Super Mario Maker" playlist that includes the Super Mario Maker title screen; a "Free Roam with Mario Paint" playlist featuring Painting Mode 1 and Flyswatter Level 1; a "Free Roam with New Super Mario Bros." playlist with Ground BGM and Castle BGM from the Nintendo DS-era title; a sizable "Free Roam with New Super Mario Bros.
Wii" playlist containing Underwater BGM, Castle BGM, Castle Boss, Desert BGM, Beach Theme, Volcano BGM, and Credits Theme 1; and a "Free Roam with New Super Mario Bros.
U" playlist featuring the Ground Theme from the Wii U era entry.
This update follows a prior patch released last week that added Mario Kart World Free Roam tracks sourced from Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
