Nintendo Debuts 2026 Calendars on My Nintendo Store: Platinum Points, Switch Online Exclusives, and Classic Game Art

Nintendo has announced the release of two official 2026 calendars available now through the My Nintendo Store, offering fans new ways to celebrate their favorite franchises throughout the year.

Both calendars can be redeemed for 400 platinum points each, Nintendo’s widely used loyalty program currency.

Importantly, one of the calendars is exclusive to paid Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) subscribers, giving additional perks to members of the service. The standard 'My Nintendo' 2026 calendar features iconic key artwork from a range of Nintendo’s best-loved series.

Highlights include Mario Kart World, the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pikmin 4.

Each month showcases vibrant visuals from a different Nintendo Switch title, creating a collectible piece of memorabilia for dedicated fans.

As is tradition, many Nintendo enthusiasts check their birthday month first to see which game art will be featured, and this year’s selection draws heavily from some of the most celebrated franchises in the company's history. In addition to the regular edition, Nintendo has issued a special Nintendo Switch Online 2026 calendar.

This exclusive version is available only to current paid NSO members and spotlights artwork from classic titles included in the Nintendo Classics library.

Fans can look forward to imagery from games such as Teleroboxer, Super Mario 64, Metroid Fusion, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, giving a retro flair that pays homage to Nintendo’s storied past. A representative from Nintendo commented in an official materials statement that these calendars allow fans to engage with classic and current games throughout the year, underscoring the company’s ongoing commitment to celebrating its extensive library with the community. While the calendars’ presentation consists of individual cardboard pieces that slot into a compact stand—a format some fans have critiqued as simplistic—the overall visual quality and nostalgic selection have been received positively among collectors and Nintendo Switch devotees. These calendars are available exclusively on the My Nintendo Store and require the redemption of 400 platinum points each.

The NSO calendar requires an active paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to claim.

Both versions offer an appealing way for fans to mark the passage of 2026 with characters and franchises that have shaped the history of gaming.

For those interested, supplies are available while stock lasts, further making these calendars featured collectibles for the year ahead. With the continued momentum of the Nintendo Switch and the enduring popularity of classics available via Nintendo Switch Online, these 2026 calendars reflect Nintendo’s strategy of blending nostalgia with ongoing innovation—further strengthening the bond between the brand and its global fanbase.
