Nintendo Launches Disney Magical World 2 Sweepstakes for Nintendo 3DS Fans

Nintendo has officially unveiled the Disney Magical World 2 Sweepstakes, an exclusive Twitter-based contest designed to celebrate the launch of Disney Magical World 2 on the Nintendo 3DS platform.

This sweepstakes invites fans and players to share their ideal Disney adventures for a chance to win a bundle of Nintendo and Disney-themed prizes.

Launched on October 13, 2016, and running until October 21, 2016, the Disney Magical World 2 Sweepstakes comes as Nintendo continues to expand its lineup of family-friendly games on the Nintendo 3DS.

Disney Magical World 2, developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS, builds on the popular Disney Magical World series and offers players the ability to explore six unique Disney-themed worlds, interact with beloved characters, and customize their own café. To participate in the sweepstakes, entrants must first follow Nintendo’s official Twitter account, @NintendoAmerica.

Once following, participants should compose a tweet describing either the Disney adventure they and their family would like to experience or which Disney World in Disney Magical World 2 they would choose to design their café after.

Fans may also choose to share their favorite Disney memory, ensuring the use of hashtags #DisneyMagicalWorld2 and #NintendoSweepstakes to complete their entry. For example, Nintendo encourages fans to imagine exploring Arendelle’s frozen forests with Elsa or sharing tales inside Mickey Mouse’s house at Castleton.

Entrants must answer one of the given prompts in their tweet and meet eligibility requirements, including being a resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) and at least 18 years of age.

No purchase is necessary to enter, and complete official rules are available on Nintendo's contest page. Three lucky winners will be randomly selected and each will receive an exciting prize package consisting of a New Nintendo 3DS XL system, a digital copy of Disney Art Academy, and a copy of Disney Magical World 2 for the Nintendo 3DS.

According to Nintendo, winners will be contacted directly via Twitter Direct Message on or around October 24, 2016. With this sweepstakes, Nintendo is not only promoting one of its most charming and creative Disney crossovers on the Nintendo 3DS but also fostering community engagement through social media.

While Disney is the source of the characters and worlds, the company is not a sponsor of this contest—Nintendo of America is the sole sponsor.
