F-Zero 99 Gets New Nintendo Switch Online Profile Icons: Second Wave Now Available

Nintendo has announced the release of a new collection of F-Zero 99 user profile icons, now accessible to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

This latest update introduces a second wave of customisable icons, allowing fans of the high-speed racing title to further personalise their Nintendo Switch Online profiles.

The new selection features not only the signature F-Zero vehicles, but also a set of character icons, expanding the options for gamers eager to showcase their affinity for the series. F-Zero 99, a modern multiplayer twist on the classic franchise, debuted on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 as an exclusive for Nintendo Switch Online members.

Developed by Nintendo, the game reimagines traditional F-Zero racing by supporting up to 99 players in high-intensity races.

Since its launch, F-Zero 99 has garnered positive feedback from both critics and long-time fans of the series for its innovative adaptation and fast-paced gameplay. According to an official statement from Nintendo, the second wave of F-Zero 99-themed icons can be redeemed through the Nintendo Switch Online app’s icon customisation section.

After this date, the icons will no longer be redeemable.
