Majogami Launches on Nintendo Switch: Inti Creates Unveils New 2D Action Platformer

Inti Creates, the acclaimed Japanese developer known for hits like Blaster Master Zero and Azure Striker Gunvolt, has officially launched its latest title, Majogami, on both Nintendo Switch and the new Nintendo Switch 2.

Gameplay in Majogami offers fast-paced, fluid combat anchored by the "Setsuna" ability—a mechanic that allows players to attack and maneuver with incredible speed and precision.

Using Setsuna, Shiroha can strike enemies instantly while also dodging threats and traversing obstacles with smooth transitions.

The system not only encourages aggressive play, but also introduces novel movement options, rewarding skilled timing and mastery in combat. Throughout the adventure, players collect "Recarte" cards, which are pieces of Shiroha’s forgotten memories.

Along the way, Shiroha confronts a diverse cast of enemies known as the Majogami—divine beings called Craft Witches who each possess formidable magical abilities and complex motives.

By overcoming these adversaries, Shiroha gradually regains her past, deepens her bond with Shiori, and uncovers the emotional core of the narrative. Another standout feature is the "Astral" transformation system.

As players build energy in battle, Shiroha can tap into the powers of guardian deities known as Astrals.
