LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Release Date — Nintendo Switch 2 Launch and DLC Details

TT Games has confirmed a firm launch date for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Nintendo Switch 2.

The delayed title will arrive on Nintendo’s next-generation handheld-console hybrid on September 18, and that same date will also see the release of new downloadable content (DLC) across platforms.

The Mayhem Collection DLC will be available September 18 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Deluxe Edition owners.

Production and release details

TT Games, the long-running developer behind LEGO video game adaptations, is positioning Legacy of the Dark Knight as a multi-platform release with specific bonuses for Deluxe Edition holders.

In clear terms, TT Games says the core game and its DLC will be synchronized: the Mayhem Collection, introducing a new Mayhem Mode and additional playable characters, will launch alongside the main title on September 18.

What Deluxe Edition owners receive

Those who purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 Deluxe Edition will receive a package of launch-day bonuses.

At launch on September 18, Deluxe Edition content includes:

- A free LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure (physical edition only, while supplies last).

- Access to the Legacy Collection DLC, which adds new suits, vehicles, and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham videogame series, the Batman Beyond television series, and a party music–themed pack.

- Access to the Mayhem Collection DLC, which includes the new Mayhem Mode featuring The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, a new story mission, and the Sinister Pack.

The Sinister Pack adds seven new suits (one for each main-game playable character), five new Batcave items, and a new Batmobile for open-world traversal.

Platform availability and notes

The Mayhem Collection will be available September 18 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Deluxe Edition owners.

Physical Deluxe Edition purchasers should note the limited availability condition attached to the Retro Video Game Batman minifigure.

This announcement gives Nintendo Switch 2 owners a clear commercial roadmap for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, aligning the base game launch with meaningful post-launch content and platform-specific Deluxe Edition incentives.
