A fan submission on LEGO Ideas celebrating The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 has drawn public attention from Lucasfilm Games.

The multi-level diorama, created by LEGO Ideas user Pester78, recreates locations and characters from the classic Lucasfilm Games point-and-click adventures first released in 1990 (The Secret of Monkey Island) and 1991 (Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge).

The set packs recognizable landmarks — including the SCUMM bar, the International House of Mojo and Stan's Previously Owned — into a compact, layered display.

Pester78's model features a selection of iconic characters in minifigure form: protagonist Guybrush Threepwood, Elaine Marley, salesman Stan, the Voodoo Lady and the spectral pirate LeChuck.

The submission also highlights playful Easter eggs and references to the series' inventory puzzles and click-based command interface, such as a small command board that nods to the SCUMM engine that powered the originals.

The LEGO Ideas page for the project shows that the entry has already gathered community support.

As of the time of this report, the submission has 880 votes; LEGO Ideas requires 10,000 supporters for a submission to be forwarded to LEGO for official review.

The project currently has more than 400 days remaining before the support deadline, giving the creator time to build momentum.

Notably, Lucasfilm Games Executive Producer Craig Derrick has publicly acknowledged the fan project and indicated his approval.

Derrick's recognition effectively lends the submission a measure of franchise-level endorsement from the team that now stewards the Monkey Island legacy.

LEGO Ideas has previously been the origin point for other video game-inspired sets that reached wider audiences after community support.

Fan creators often use the platform to demonstrate demand for licensed sets, and public endorsements from IP holders can help drive visibility.

For fans of the franchise and retro point-and-click adventures, the Pester78 diorama is both a nostalgia piece and a detailed collector concept.

Supporters who want to see the model reach LEGO review can register an account on LEGO Ideas and add their vote to the project page.

Whether as a display piece on a shelf or a tribute to Lucasfilm Games' influential SCUMM-era titles, the submission has already sparked interest from the community and the series' official representative.
