Nintendo is ushering in the holiday spirit for fans and families in San Francisco with a memorable presence at the Union Square Winter Walk 2024.
Taking place in the bustling heart of the city, Union Square has traditionally been home to an array of festive events and community activations.
This year, the Union Square Alliance, in collaboration with local sponsors such as JP Morgan Chase, is bringing back this multi-month celebration, transforming a portion of Stockton Street into a pedestrian-friendly promenade and offering a wide variety of seasonal attractions for locals and visitors alike. From December 13 through December 24, 2024, Nintendo will host an interactive booth as part of the Winter Walk experience on Stockton Street, between Post and O’Farrell streets.
Visitors can look forward to character meet-and-greets on weekends, engaging holiday-themed photo opportunities, and exclusive giveaways—including Mario and Luigi holiday visors while supplies last.
Additionally, guests can check in at the Nintendo booth to earn 100 My Nintendo™ Platinum Points*, which can later be redeemed for digital and physical rewards via the My Nintendo program for Nintendo Switch fans. Nintendo’s presence at the Winter Walk is designed to deliver family-friendly excitement.
Over the two-week period, character appearances are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, allowing fans to snap memorable photos and share festive moments.
Attendees can further enhance their visit by stopping for a photo with the life-size Mario ornament, prominently displayed in the lobby of The Westin St.
Francis hotel. The Union Square Winter Walk will be open to the public with extended hours throughout the holiday season: Monday to Wednesday from 11 a.m.
