Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2: Diddy Kong Absent From Confirmed Character Roster

Diddy Kong remains a fan-favorite, in part due to his memorable late addition to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass downloadable content.

His reappearance, alongside characters like Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette, was the first time Diddy was featured in a home console entry since Mario Kart Wii.
