Majogami Demo Now Available on Nintendo Switch Ahead of October 2025 Launch

Inti Creates, the acclaimed developer known for their expertise in action platformers, is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of Majogami.

Set to launch on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 30, 2025, Majogami blends fast-paced sword combat with a rich narrative and intricate level design.

With less than a month until its global release, Inti Creates has made a playable demo available, offering fans an early opportunity to experience the game’s dynamic gameplay. The Majogami demo, available now via the Nintendo eShop, invites players to step into the shoes of Shiroha, a swift and expressive witch armed with her katana, Kamikiri.

Players will be able to traverse papercraft-inspired stages, utilizing Shiroha’s signature Setsuna attack, a lightning-fast sword strike designed for rapid movement and high-speed action.

After encountering the enigmatic Astral Sirius, Setsuna will unlock her initial transformation, temporarily amplifying her powers to alter gameplay tactics. Inti Creates has also unveiled a comprehensive list of features that players can expect in the full game.

According to the developer, Majogami’s story mode challenges players to complete more than 35 action-packed stages, with the promise of additional bonus levels to unlock for extended replayability.

The game encourages strategic customization, offering 20 magical charms that players can discover, purchase, and equip to tailor their journey. Storytelling is a focal point in Majogami, featuring over eight hours of fully voiced Japanese dialogue.

This rich narrative experience is complemented by 13 uniquely designed bosses, each presenting distinct challenges and visually striking, dark motifs.

Shiroha also enjoys a diverse range of combat options, as players can transform between seven different fighting forms to adapt their playstyle and gain an edge in battle. A newly released trailer showcases the excitement of the playable demo, highlighting Majogami’s fast-paced combat and atmospheric visuals.

The demo is now live, so Nintendo Switch users can download and test the game’s core mechanics ahead of launch. Majogami is slated for release on both Nintendo Switch and the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2 on October 30, 2025.
