The Shinra Electric Power Company maintains control with the help of The Turks, an elite group entrusted with carrying out covert missions ranging from assassination to abduction—often enforcing Shinra’s questionable interests.

Yet, standing in direct opposition is Avalanche, a resistance group determined to halt Shinra's destructive actions.

Players will join Cloud Strife and the members of Avalanche as they fight to protect the planet by dismantling Shinra’s Mako Reactors, which are draining the planet’s life force.
