Square Enix has officially confirmed that the much-celebrated Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy will be launching on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement was made just after it was revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the enhanced version of the critically acclaimed RPG, will debut on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 22, 2026. Originally released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Final Fantasy VII Remake marked the beginning of a new era for the franchise, combining modern visuals and expanded gameplay with the cherished story of the 1997 classic.
