F-Zero GX, released for Nintendo’s GameCube in 2003 and developed by Sega’s Amusement Vision in collaboration with Nintendo, remains one of the most celebrated arcade-style racers on the platform. Community researchers have uncovered a set of new cheat codes for the GameCube classic that unlock a broad range of in-game content, including AX machines, AX courses, the unlockable character Dark Schneider, and the rare Gold Parts previously available only through Japan-only events.
The discovery allows players to bypass some of the original progression requirements. The codes themselves do not grant immediate possession of items; players must still use in-game tickets to purchase content after it has been unlocked. In journalistic terms: the new codes reveal previously gated content without the in-game requirement to beat Grand Prix on Master difficulty or Story mode on Very Hard, but they do not replace the in-game purchase system.
Historically, the Gold Parts were distributed as special prize sets at in-person events held in Japan during the GameCube era. Winners were required to bring memory cards with their save data to receive the parts. Outside of those events, the only widely used alternative was to employ external cheat devices such as a GameShark to obtain the custom parts. The newly uncovered codes represent the first broadly shared method to access those parts without attending the original events.
The community notes that some of the Gold Parts codes require simultaneous input from four controllers, making them difficult to perform solo.

The discovery was credited to community tipster Paul Russell. For readers following Nintendo platform news, official channels such as Nintendo Direct or the Nintendo eShop announcements remain the primary source for verified re-releases and retro-library updates. For now, these codes apply to the original GameCube release of F-Zero GX and provide a rare route to obtain event-locked customization items and additional race content.
