The move follows a February teaser and subsequent online listings that teased a red Evercade cart containing classic DOOM titles.

- Cartridge: Blaze says the new Evercade cartridge will include the original PC versions of DOOM and DOOM II, plus six official mission packs and a dedicated Deathmatch levels collection.
The cartridge is available to pre-order via Funstock UK, Funstock Europe and Funstock USA priced at £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99, with shipping expected to start on October 30, 2026.

Included extras are a certificate of authenticity, a double-sided poster, a DOOM comic, a keyring and a protective hard-shell carry case.
Blaze positioned the announcement as part of a celebration of id Software’s milestone.
In its public message the publisher congratulated id Software on its 35th anniversary and described the Evercade release as a partnership to be detailed further during 2026.
Context and platform history
DOOM, created by id Software, is one of the landmark first-person shooter franchises; its most recent mainline entry referenced by Blaze is DOOM: Dark Ages (2025).
The franchise has a long history of releases across PC and consoles, including ports to Nintendo platforms such as the Nintendo Switch.
Evercade’s library has previously included collections for Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, Broken Sword and Duke Nukem, and Blaze’s hardware family currently spans the EXP-R, VS-R, Super Pocket and Alpha devices alongside the Nexus handheld.
For collectors and retro-enthusiasts, the DOOM Collection and the limited Nexus edition offer a concrete release window and pre-order timeline.
Readers interested in purchasing should monitor Funstock’s regional storefronts for the August 7 pre-order and the October 30 shipping date for the cartridge.
