Bethesda Announces The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered—Out Now on Xbox, PS5, and PC

Bethesda has officially launched The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, bringing the classic RPG experience to modern platforms with enhanced visuals and updated features.

The publisher made the announcement on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, during a special livestream event, confirming that the remastered title is immediately available on Xbox (including Xbox Game Pass), PlayStation 5, and PC. Oblivion Remastered is the latest entry in Bethesda's highly regarded Elder Scrolls franchise, which originally debuted with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in 2006.

Developed and published by Bethesda, the original game is celebrated for its expansive open world, immersive storylines, and groundbreaking gameplay mechanics that helped to define the modern RPG genre.
