The chart, compiled by GfK and reported by Nintendo Life, places Oblivion Remastered at number one after a decisive physical-week surge.
According to GfK’s platform breakdown, 98% of Oblivion Remastered's physical sales in the UK this week were on the system identified as 'Switch 2', while PlayStation 5 accounted for 1% and Xbox Series consoles registered 0%.
GfK’s data shows that this concentration of Switch 2 sales propelled the remaster past Pokémon Pokopia and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, both of which climbed one place in the latest top 40.
Last week’s chart-topper, Resident Evil Requiem, dropped sharply to 24th place.
The full top 10 from GfK’s UK physical chart highlights a mix of remasters, licensed properties and major retail releases: 1) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, 2) Pokémon Pokopia, 3) Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, 4) Mario Kart World, 5) Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, 6) 007 First Light (new entry), 7) Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, 8) Tekken 8, 9) Splatoon Raiders, and 10) Elden Ring.
Other notable platform splits in the chart include EA Sports FC 26 (Switch 43%, PS5 26%, PS4 12%, Switch 2 11%) and Pokémon Legends Z-A (Switch 51%, Switch 2 49%), underscoring how titles available across Nintendo’s current and newly listed hardware accounted for strong physical sales.
Resident Evil Requiem’s physical sales were led by PS5 (63%), with Xbox Series at 20% and Switch 2 representing 17% of boxed sales.
GfK’s physical chart tracks retail boxed sales across the UK market and does not include digital downloads from Nintendo eShop or other online storefronts, so these rankings reflect in-store and boxed performance only.
The results illustrate continued demand for physical editions of high-profile remasters and long-running franchises.
As always, GfK compiled the data for the UK top 40; Nintendo Life published the chart breakdown.
The list provides a clear snapshot of which properties are driving retail purchases in the region this week, with Oblivion Remastered’s Switch 2-heavy performance standing out as the story of the chart.
