Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Expands DLC Roster With Mega Man and NiGHTS Revealed Ahead of Launch

Sega’s highly anticipated kart racing title, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, is gearing up to deliver a robust crossover experience when it launches on September 25, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and the Nintendo Switch.

This new entrant in the Sonic racing franchise has been attracting significant attention online, with early reviews signaling a strong start for the developer. In keeping with Sega's tradition of ambitious crossover DLC, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is set to feature an impressive lineup of guest content.

Early reports confirmed collaboration packs featuring beloved brands such as Spongebob Squarepants, Minecraft, Pac-Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

However, new information sourced from Sonic Stadium has revealed that the first season pass extends even further. Physical copies of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds have begun circulating ahead of the official release date, and inserts included in the packaging have detailed the complete first season pass lineup.

Among the previously announced DLC, fans were surprised to spot the logo for Mega Man—a collaboration that Sega had not previously discussed.

The insert also noted additional content in development based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, confirming yet another high-profile franchise is joining the game's universe. While Sega has not yet issued an official statement on the Mega Man crossover, the presence of this iconic Capcom character in the promotional material strongly suggests Sega and Capcom have reached a partnership for the Blue Bomber to join the Blue Blur.

The season pass insert also features art depicting a character from NiGHTS: Into Dreams, another beloved Sega IP.
