The Dark Arisen expansion takes players to the long-abandoned northern region of Norgan, where they will join forces with a mysterious figure named Eir to investigate the undying Fallen Dragon.
Capcom says the expanded campaign centers on recovering and appraising forgotten relics that unlock powerful new weapons and skills.
The publisher also confirmed the expansion adds 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges, new dungeon trials designed by the Pathfinder to test the Arisen and yield rare equipment once held by past heroes.
Additional character customization options, including new hairstyles and tattoos, will be added to the game’s robust Character Creator.
