The re-release revives a relatively obscure entry in the SNES library that never received an official English localization, offering players both digital and physical purchase options when it launches on November 26, 2026.
Mebius will distribute Ancient Magic on the Nintendo Switch as a digital download priced at 2,980 yen via the eShop, a standard physical edition at 4,400 yen, and a premium limited edition for 11,000 yen.
The limited edition package includes the base game cartridge, an original soundtrack compilation of the game's background music, and a large-format art collection titled Bazoo!
Magical World Original Art Collection, all presented in a specially designed box featuring original artwork by veteran artist Akihiro Yamada.
