Originally slated for July 24, 2025, BEEP has postponed the Japanese release by one week, now setting launch for June 31, 2025. Cotton Reboot! High Tension! serves as the direct sequel to the 2021 remaster Cotton Reboot!, a modern tribute to the classic Cotton franchise known for its energetic side-scrolling gameplay and whimsical storytelling.

In this new outing, players once again join Cotton and her companion Silk on an unpredictable quest to restore peace after "Willows," the series’ signature collectible, transform into threatening entities, plunging the fairy kingdom into turmoil.
