Chicken Police: Into the Hive Coming to Nintendo Switch – Console Release Date Announced

The acclaimed indie studio The Wild Gentlemen has officially announced that Chicken Police: Into the Hive, the highly-anticipated sequel to their cult hit detective adventure, is headed to consoles, including a dedicated launch on the Nintendo Switch.

Originally unveiled as a PC title, Chicken Police: Into the Hive will make its way to the Switch on November 9, 2025, just days after its initial PC debut on November 7, 2025.

Building upon the critically praised foundation established by Chicken Police: Paint it Red—which arrived on the Nintendo Switch in 2020—Into the Hive invites players back into the shoes of hard-boiled detective duo Sonny Featherland and Marty MacChicken.

This time, the feathered investigators are drawn into a new and perilous case set within the gritty cityscape of Clawville, home to a diverse mix of animal species coexisting in uneasy harmony.

Their latest assignment takes them into the depths of the Hive, a grim district where insect inhabitants endure harsh living conditions, further intensifying the game’s signature film-noir tension. Players can expect a deeply immersive experience across more than 35 unique locations, interrogating a cast of over 30 expressive characters as they piece together a twisting narrative.
