Bandai Namco has officially announced the return of its highly anticipated 'Summer Showcase', set to air on July 2, 2024.
Fans and industry observers can look forward to a compelling presentation focused heavily on upcoming Nintendo Switch releases, offering new details, trailers, and first looks at several major titles debuting on the platform this year.
The unveiling came alongside a teaser trailer, which highlights a strong line-up for Nintendo Switch users.
Confirmed games to feature in the showcase include "Everybody's Golf Hot Shots", the visually distinct rhythm adventure "Patapon 1+2 Replay", the atmospheric puzzle platformer "Little Nightmares III", tactical RPG sequel "Super Robot Wars Y", and the enigmatic action adventure "Shadow Labyrinth".
In addition, viewers will get a fresh look at "Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree" with the debut of a brand new trailer, reinforcing Bandai Namco’s commitment to bringing high-quality gaming experiences to the Nintendo Switch and the eShop.
Bandai Namco’s presentation, available via YouTube and Twitch, will not only focus on Switch-exclusive titles.
The company is also set to provide an in-depth gameplay demonstration for "Digimon Story Time Stranger", as well as deliver updates on a diverse portfolio including "Code Vein II", the action RPG "The Blood of Dawnwalker", narrative adventure "Death Note Killer Within", and the next installment in a legendary fighting franchise, "Tekken 8".
One of the biggest draws is the announcement of a “world game reveal” for an upcoming "My Hero Academia" title, a move likely to captivate fans of the popular anime and manga series.
The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase will premiere at 8pm BST / 12pm PT / 3pm ET on July 2, 2024.
International viewers can follow along at their local times: 12pm PDT, 1pm MDT, 2pm CDT, or 3pm EDT in North America; 9pm CEST or 10pm EEST in Europe; and for Asia and Oceania, on July 3 at 4am JST, 3am AWST, or 5am AEST.
