Asphalt Legends Unite Brings Cross-Platform Racing and Exclusive Rewards to Nintendo Switch

Gameloft is rapidly accelerating the arcade racer scene on Nintendo Switch with the upcoming launch of Asphalt Legends Unite, set for August 19, 2024 on the Nintendo eShop.

This release not only rebrands the acclaimed free-to-play title Asphalt 9: Legends, but also introduces unprecedented cross-platform gameplay, allowing Switch racers to compete with players on other systems for the very first time.

Originally released on other platforms in July, Asphalt Legends Unite faced a brief delay on Nintendo’s hybrid console.

To show appreciation for Switch players’ patience, Gameloft is providing a significant package of exclusive rewards and events to celebrate this milestone launch.

Asphalt Legends Unite marks a major evolution for the popular series.

Along with cross-play features, the update debuts new content, including a co-op mode where two teams face off in high-stakes police chases.

The overhaul further includes an improved game engine, a refreshed user interface, and a redesigned in-game HUD for a modernized gameplay experience tailored to Switch hardware. Switch users will receive several categories of launch rewards as soon as they log in.

The first-time login package features 30 blueprints for the Nissan 370z Neon Edition, which immediately unlocks the car, along with 10 Unite Launch I Packs, 10 Unite Launch II Packs, 750 Tokens, and 50,000 Credits.

Daily login incentives add even more, with additional packs available every day through September 11, incentivizing regular play.

Gameloft is also offering a 'Catch-up Gift' for Nintendo Switch racers that includes access to previously unreleased vehicles and content.

This bonus features 45 blueprints for the Aston Martin DB12, 10 blueprints and five upgrade packs each for the Lotus E-R9, Maserati MC20 GT2, Nissan GT-R Neon Edition, and McMurty Spierling.

A further 'Delay Gift' acknowledges the extra wait faced by Switch players, providing resources such as event packs for the Drive Syndicate, unique blueprints for vehicles like the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster and Ultima RS, Drive Syndicate Coins, more Tokens, and up to 500,000 Credits, helping players quickly catch up with special events and progression.

Finally, as compensation for recent changes affecting the Asphalt Bank feature during migration, every Switch user will receive an additional 500 Tokens.

All launch gifts are available to claim until September 11, granting ample time for new and returning players to boost their collection.
