ANA Reveals Pokémon Jet Red and Pokémon Jet Green Liveries for Pokémon 30th Anniversary

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled two new Pokémon-themed aircraft liveries—Pokémon Jet Red and Pokémon Jet Green—to commemorate the Pokémon franchise’s 30th anniversary in 2026.

The announcement continues a long-running partnership between the airline and the Pokémon brand, bringing franchise iconography to commercial aviation and in-flight amenities.

According to ANA’s reveal, Pokémon Jet Red’s exterior artwork centers on Pikachu alongside the series’ Fire-type starter Pokémon that have appeared across the franchise.

Pokémon Jet Green will feature Pikachu together with the Grass-type starter Pokémon.

The airline also confirmed the liveries include newly revealed creatures Pombon and Browt as part of the art package.

In addition to the plane exteriors, the designs will appear on limited-edition in-flight items such as cups, cocktail napkins, and headrest covers.

In journalistic terms: ANA stated the two new liveries pair Pikachu with the franchise’s Fire- and Grass-type starter lineups respectively, and that the designs extend to onboard service items and cabin fittings.

The airline presented Pombon and Browt as additional characters integrated into the new artwork.

The Pokémon franchise, managed by The Pokémon Company with long-standing development support from Game Freak and publication partnerships with Nintendo, marks its 30th anniversary in 2026 after first launching in 1996.

Over three decades the brand has expanded beyond games on Nintendo hardware—most recently including major releases on the Nintendo Switch platform—and into anime, trading cards, merchandise, and promotional collaborations such as themed aircraft.

For fans and travelers, ANA’s announcement offers a collectible, branded experience both on the ground and in the air.

The airline has not yet provided a public schedule of routes for the Pokémon Jet Red and Pokémon Jet Green aircraft or detailed booking instructions tied to the liveries; travelers should check ANA’s official channels for rollout dates and operational routes.

This collaboration underscores how high-profile IPs like Pokémon remain a central part of cross-industry promotions, engaging communities of players and collectors worldwide during milestone celebrations.
