Wild Hearts S Demo Now Live on Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan and Australia
Wild Hearts S, Omega Force and Koei Tecmo’s highly anticipated hunting action title, is on track for its global release on July 25, 2025, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2.
As excitement builds for the upcoming launch, a playable demo for Wild Hearts S has begun rolling out on the Nintendo eShop in select regions, giving fans an early hands-on experience with the next-generation hunting adventure.
The Wild Hearts S demo is currently available to download in both Japan and Australia.
While listings for North America and Europe are expected to update soon, Nintendo Switch 2 owners worldwide can gain access by creating a Japanese or Australian Nintendo Account and downloading the trial version directly from the regional eShop.
This strategic rollout allows eager players to sample the game’s unique blend of monster hunting and innovative technology ahead of its official release.
Developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo, Wild Hearts S transports players to the harsh, beautiful world of Azuma.
In this perilous land, formidable beasts known as Kemono—survivors of relentless natural disasters—roam freely.
Players step into the role of a hunter who must rely on wits, teamwork, and the ancient Karakuri technology to face the primal threat.
The Karakuri system enables hunters to instantly construct tools and traps, such as gliders, crates, protective barriers, and even intricate weaponry, turning the tide of battle and allowing for strategic freedom on the hunting grounds.
The game offers robust customization options, letting players choose from a wide arsenal of weapons that range from traditional bow and nodachi to inventive arms like the bladed wagasa and the Karakuri katana.
Every weapon presents a unique playstyle, and players can craft new equipment and upgrades using materials collected from their hunts.
This continuous cycle of hunting and forging empowers players to take on ever-stronger Kemono and refine their tactical approach with each expedition.
Wild Hearts S also delves into the lore of Azuma—a world once prosperous, now under siege by rampaging Kemono whose origins are shrouded in mystery.
The narrative emphasizes hope against overwhelming odds, as hunters wield powerful weapons and Karakuri technology to challenge nature’s fury and restore balance to the land.
With the demo’s arrival on the Nintendo eShop, Wild Hearts S joins Street Fighter 6 as one of the few titles offering trial experiences on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
Fans are encouraged to download the demo, experience the dynamic combat, and prepare for the full adventure when Wild Hearts S officially launches worldwide on July 25, 2025.
