This week brings a significant Nintendo eShop update for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 users, headlined by new game launches, highly anticipated pre-orders, themed activities, and special sales events.
Nintendo continues its strong momentum in the digital space, offering an array of experiences for its passionate player base.
Tamagotchi Plaza, the latest installment in the beloved Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series, officially arrives on the eShop June 27.
Developed for both Switch and Switch 2, the shop simulation game invites players into Tamahiko Town to operate a variety of different shops, interact with over 100 unique Tamagotchi, and tackle mini-objectives such as finding lost items and improving shop reputations.
Multiplayer fans can look forward to two local co-op and versus shop modes, enhancing replay value for friends and families alike.
This title builds on Bandai Namco’s history of engaging, family-friendly simulations with a fresh, modern interface tailored for both long-term fans and newcomers.
Pre-orders are also now live for two highly anticipated titles:
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, developed by Marvelous, marks the next evolution in the mecha action franchise.
Players pilot customizable Arsenals in fast-paced, open-world battles that span both land and air.
The game’s launch on Nintendo Switch 2 is set for September 5.
According to the official release statement, Titanic Scion empowers players to "transform the battlefield, adapt their tactics with acquired enemy gear, and strategically upgrade their abilities," either solo or in online co-op with up to two allies.
This entry builds on the series’ reputation for deep customization and epic, high-tech conflicts.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance brings the legendary Joe Musashi back to the forefront in a visually striking 2D action-platformer.
Developed by the team behind Streets of Rage 4, this hand-drawn adventure launches August 29 for Nintendo Switch.
Players must master a wide range of ninja weaponry and techniques while traversing more than a dozen stages filled with challenging enemies and dynamic combos.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, the development team expressed their intent to "honor SHINOBI’s legacy by creating a fresh yet faithful reinterpretation for a new generation of players."
Outside game launches, Nintendo Music has added the Yoshi’s Story soundtrack with the debut of "Yo-Yo-Yoshi!" on its smart-device app, giving fans a chance to revisit the whimsical tracks from the iconic Nintendo 64 adventure.
Tetris 99 also welcomes its 47th MAXIMUS CUP event from June 27 to June 30, where Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can collect event points to unlock previous in-game themes inspired by hits like Super Mario Bros.
