Nintendo of America confirmed new listings, timed trials and pre-order windows across both Nintendo Switch hardware generations, plus fresh entries to Nintendo Music.

Valheim and Mewgenics arrive on Switch 2
Valheim is now available on Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo states the title has been optimized for the system, including support for Joy‑Con 2 mouse controls and HD Rumble 2, and offers both solo and up-to-10-player online play across procedurally generated land and sea.
Mewgenics, the roguelike tactics project from the team behind The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh, is also available on Nintendo Switch 2, where players collect items, draft abilities and manage genetics across generations.
Notable pre-orders and upcoming launches
- LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set for Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 18 and is available to pre-order on Nintendo eShop.
- FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE launches for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Oct. 22, featuring HD-2D visuals, turn-based combat, recruitable classic franchise characters and overworld travel by chocobo and airship.

- Woodo, a cozy 3D diorama puzzle game that supports Joy‑Con 2 mouse controls on Nintendo Switch 2, will release Sept. 16 with pre-orders available now.
Trials, updates and music
Nintendo highlighted a free Game Trial for EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 on Nintendo Switch 2 for Nintendo Switch Online members from Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.

Mario Kart World received a free update (ver. 1.8.0) adding courses inspired by Super Mario Kart, two new Knockout Tour routes, Spectator Mode for group play, and Photo Mode filters.
Nintendo Music added the Paper Mario soundtrack and a symphonic Title Theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ahead of that game's Nov. 5 launch on Nintendo Switch 2.
