Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Debuts on Nintendo Switch 2 — Full Nintendo eShop Update and May Release Roundup

Nintendo’s latest Download update for the Nintendo eShop centers on the new Yoshi adventure and a string of May releases for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The weekly bulletin from Nintendo of America confirms availability windows, eShop additions, music updates for the Nintendo Music app, and fresh My Nintendo rewards tied to the Yoshi launch. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2 system. The game pairs Yoshi with a talking book named Mr. E; players open the book to discover pages that contain distinct environments and creatures, then hop into those habitats to study each creature’s characteristics and abilities. Along the way, Yoshi’s movement options are used to probe creature reactions and unlock new discoveries. Major third‑party and indie releases Bandai Namco’s Tales of ARISE — Beyond the Dawn Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 22. The Beyond the Dawn Edition bundles the base Tales of ARISE title with the additional “Beyond the Dawn” scenario, plus extra costumes and items. Several other titles listed in this week’s Nintendo Download have specific release dates on Switch or Switch 2: Bubsy 4D (available May 22), Bag Fight (available May 22), Chicken Climber (available May 22), Rugrats: Retro Rewind Collection (available May 22), Parkour Obby: Toxic Escape (available May 23), Warrior Survivor (available May 23), Birushana: Winds of Fate and LumenTale: Memories of Trey (both available May 26), Nitro City Racing and Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition (available May 27), and Schrödinger’s Call (available May 27). Coffee Talk Tokyo and Nintendo Music Coffee Talk Tokyo is now available on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, continuing the coffee‑shop simulation series with new stories set against Tokyo’s summer backdrop. Nintendo also added the Yoshi (NES) and Yoshi (Game Boy) soundtracks to the Nintendo Music app, bringing classic tracks such as Title Screen and Mushroom BGM to subscribers.
