Astronaut Diaries and Ninja Kiwi have confirmed the Nintendo Switch release date for Denari, a cel-shaded isometric action game that places players in the role of Taiu, a young warrior with emerging telekinetic abilities.
The title is scheduled to launch digitally on the Nintendo eShop worldwide on 24 March 2027.

Astronaut Diaries founder and game director Shrikkanth Sreedharan framed the design intent around making foes part of the player’s toolkit, explaining that enemies are meant to be not only threats but also tactical resources that change how players approach every combat encounter.
Sreedharan also highlighted the studio’s attention to cultural and artistic detail, saying the team has invested heavily in story, music and artwork.
He pointed to specific cultural elements incorporated into the project, including weapon designs inspired by Māori bone carvings and rhythmic elements drawn from Indian tabla drums, and noted that the narrative takes inspiration from the experiences of indigenous and immigrant children growing up in New Zealand.
The soundtrack for Denari is composed by David Mason, whose recent credits include Dredge, I Am Your Beast, Penguin Colony, and TMNT: Tactical Takedown.
