Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 retained the top slot, while Minecraft’s new Nintendo Switch 2 edition delivered a substantial uplift that pushed the title back into the top three.

The weekly chart lists publishers and previous-week positions across a 40-place ranking that highlights both new releases and catalog strength on Nintendo hardware.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 held onto No.1 for the second consecutive week.

According to the chart, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Modern Warfare 4 accounted for 5% of the game’s sales for the week, reflecting the franchise’s cross-platform footprint as the title continues to lead the UK market.

Minecraft mounted a notable rise, moving from No.8 to No.3.

The chart indicates that the recently released Nintendo Switch 2 edition made up 71% of Minecraft’s sales during the week, underscoring the impact of a new platform edition on weekly rankings.

Put simply: Minecraft climbed the chart and the Switch 2 release represented the majority of its sales for the reporting period.

Other key movers included EA Sports FC 27, which rose to No.2 from No.3, and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which appeared at No.4 after a previous-week position of No.2.

Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem jumped impressively to No.5 from No.36, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword moved to No.6 from No.20.

Long-running franchises and recent releases populated the remainder of the top 10: Mario Kart World at No.7, Final Fantasy Resonance at No.8, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival debuting at No.9, and Marvel’s Wolverine at No.10.

The top 40 reflects a mix of new entries, catalogue staples, and platform-specific lifts — with multiple Nintendo-published titles still dominant across the list, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Animal Crossing: New Horizons appearing in the chart.
