Aspyr and Limited Run Games have officially confirmed the upcoming physical release of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, offering both a standard and Collector’s Edition for dedicated fans and collectors.
This announcement comes after a period of anticipation following Aspyr’s previous hints at a potential physical launch for the critically acclaimed remaster trilogy.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered continues the celebrated legacy of Lara Croft, bringing enhanced graphics and refined gameplay to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and other modern platforms.
Developed and published by Aspyr, renowned for their expertise in bringing classic franchises to contemporary hardware, this collection gives longtime fans the opportunity to revisit iconic adventures, while introducing a new generation to the legendary Tomb Raider series.
Aspyr’s Brand Manager, Matthew Ray, shared with Nintendo Everything earlier this year that the company recognizes the strong demand for physical releases among fans of classic games.
In a statement provided to the press, Ray emphasized Aspyr’s understanding of the significance of physical collectables for nostalgic players, indicating that more information would soon follow.
That update has now arrived.
Aspyr confirmed that the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered physical edition will be distributed through Limited Run Games, with pre-orders for both the Collector’s Edition and the standard version set to open on May 13, 2025.
The Collector’s Edition, available for $79.99 USD (or regional equivalent), features the full game alongside a curated selection of exclusive collectibles, appealing to fans eager for a comprehensive edition.
The standard physical release, priced at $29.99 USD, offers the base trilogy for those looking to own a tangible copy of the acclaimed remasters.
For those unable to wait for the physical edition, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $29.99 / £26.99 (or the equivalent in other regions), with digital downloads starting on February 14, 2025.
The trilogy remaster encompasses the titles originally released during the late 1990s and early 2000s, delivering enhanced visuals, modernized controls, and all original content for a definitive Tomb Raider experience.
Aspyr’s collaboration with Limited Run Games for this physical release mirrors the approach taken with their earlier remaster, Tomb Raider I-III.
This strategy continues to foster excitement within the community, accommodating both digital-focused players and collectors who value the permanence of physical media in gaming history.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered’s dual release—across both physical and digital platforms—reaffirms Aspyr’s commitment to serving the diverse preferences of the gaming community, ensuring Lara Croft’s legendary adventures remain accessible for years to come.
