INIU P63 Power Bank Review: 25,000mAh Backup for Switch, Steam Deck and ROG Ally

Introduction

Handheld gaming devices such as the Steam Deck, AYANEO 3 and Nintendo Switch OLED have pushed portable performance forward, but one consistent limitation across the category remains battery life.

The INIU P63 is a 25,000mAh power bank aimed at addressing that shortfall for gamers and mobile professionals who need extended runtime for consoles, laptops and phones.

Key specifications and design

The INIU P63 carries a 25,000mAh capacity and includes an integrated charging cable tucked into its lanyard.

On its top edge the unit provides three output ports: two USB-C ports rated at up to 100W and 45W respectively (one of these USB-C ports can also be used to recharge the bank) and a single USB-A port limited to 15W output.

INIU advertises a full recharge time of roughly 90 minutes from empty, making it practical to top up before heading out.

Real-world charging and compatibility

In testing for this review, the P63 extended runtime for handhelds and laptops.

The bank added approximately four hours of additional playtime to a Steam Deck during typical use, delivered more than three-and-a-half hours when powering an ROG Ally in Turbo Mode, and supplied in excess of 10 hours of extra battery to a Nintendo Switch OLED.

The P63 can also charge a laptop, phone and console simultaneously, with a tested combined output profile of roughly 64W + 15W + 15W across the three ports.

Packaging, interface and physical considerations

The P63’s included lanyard cable is a useful convenience, and the unit’s battery-level indicator provides basic state-of-charge information.

However, the P63 lacks a full LCD readout found on some competing packs such as the Genki Energy Pack.

The 25,000mAh capacity results in a physically substantial and heavier product than lower-capacity banks; those planning to tether the pack to a handheld should consider the added weight and potential wrist strain.

Price and verdict

At the time of this article the P63 is available at a retail price of £67 with current discounts applied.

For users who prioritize long runtime for Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, ROG Ally or laptops while away from mains power, the INIU P63 provides high-capacity, multi-device charging in a comparatively fast-charging package.

The trade-offs are size, weight and a simpler battery indicator compared with some premium competitors.

Journalistic note

Modern high-performance handhelds often deliver only single-digit hours of battery life under heavy load; high-capacity power banks like the INIU P63 are a practical solution for extending play sessions and remote productivity when mains power isn't available.
