Jakks Pacific has announced a licensed toyline tied to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, with new products beginning to roll out this summer.
The collection is built around action figures, plush, playsets and miniatures that reflect characters and set pieces from the film, and includes retailer-exclusive SKUs for Target, Walmart and Smyths.
Leading the lineup is the Chomping Wonder Bowser Jr. feature figure, an over-8-inch sculpt with extensive articulation and interactive mechanics.
According to Jakks Pacific, the figure offers 13 points of articulation and a signature chomping motion that is activated by pushing the figure's shell forward.
The figure also ships with a multi-head paint brush that accepts swappable tips — brush, axe, mace and arrowhead — and includes a reusable water-reveal function that uncovers ink-splatter effects when the brush tip is used.
