Evercade and QUByte set a concrete launch date for the Gaelco Sports Collection, confirming the arcade compilation will arrive on October 22, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.

The announcement follows QUByte Interactive's initial reveal in September and a subsequent update in early October that provided platforms and a firm release date.

The Gaelco Sports Collection assembles five coin-op arcade titles from Spanish developer Gaelco.

The compilation includes World Rally Championship (1993), World Rally 2 (1995), Touch 'n' Go (1995), Snow Board Championship (1997), and Squash (1992).

QUByte originally described the package as a compendium of five arcade sports titles drawn from Gaelco's coin-op catalogue, highlighting the studio's arcade-focused output from the 1990s.

World Rally Championship and World Rally 2 are the collection's best-known entries.

Released in 1993 and 1995 respectively, both titles use an isometric perspective and are noted for fast-paced arcade racing, tight time limits and a focus on memorizing course layouts.

Snow Board Championship, released in 1997, retains the isometric viewpoint while shifting gameplay to downhill board and ski-style racing with time-based objectives and trick opportunities.

Touch 'n' Go, a 1995 beach volleyball arcade game, uses digitized sprites for characters and audience members, a stylistic choice common in mid-90s coin-op titles.

The oldest entry, Squash (1992), provides one-on-one enclosed court gameplay and is notable within the compilation for its interstitial character animations and presentation.

QUByte and Evercade also released a new trailer alongside the October update.

Visual assets tied to the announcement indicate that the Squash sprite art has been altered from its original arcade appearance in at least some promotional materials; screenshots and trailer footage show a censorship element covering previously exposed sprite artwork.

The Gaelco Sports Collection will launch digitally on the listed platforms on October 22, 2026.

QUByte and Evercade have positioned the release as a preservation-minded reissue of Gaelco's sports-oriented arcade catalog, bringing classic coin-op experiences to modern consoles and PC.
