Announced today by the developer, this anticipated collection is scheduled for release in Japan on November 27, 2025.
The compilation celebrates the legacy of Telenet Japan by reviving three beloved titles originally launched on the Super Famicom.
The Telenet RPG Collection will feature Dark Kingdom, Hiouden: Mamono-tachi tono Chikai, and The Journey Home: Quest for the Throne.
These games, all developed by Telenet Japan, are recognized for their rich storytelling and unique mechanics, which earned them a dedicated fan base during the 1990s.
As part of the announcement, Edia released the first trailer showcasing newly enhanced visuals and updated features for Nintendo Switch owners.
A representative from Edia expressed enthusiasm for the project, noting that bringing these "timeless classics" to a new generation preserves an important part of gaming history while providing longtime fans with a fresh way to experience their favorite titles.
The Telenet RPG Collection will be available both physically and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.
For collectors and series enthusiasts, a special edition has been confirmed for retail.
This set will include an exclusive soundtrack CD and the official "Telenet RPG Fan Book," giving fans additional insight into the development and legacy of the games.
Originally developed for the Super Famicom by Telenet Japan, each RPG in the collection offers distinct adventures and unique gameplay systems, demonstrating the developer’s impact on the Japanese RPG landscape.
With the Nintendo Switch release, Edia aims to reach both legacy players and new audiences.
At this time, the release date has only been announced for the Japanese market.
