Street Fighter 6, the acclaimed fighting game developed and published by Capcom, continues its momentum following the recent launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and the milestone achievement of five million global sales.
In a bold new move, Capcom has unveiled its latest collaboration, this time joining forces with South Korean K-Pop supergroup Aespa for a high-profile in-game event set to launch on July 4, 2025, across all available platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and the widely celebrated Nintendo Switch 2.
The Street Fighter 6 x Aespa collaboration promises a series of exclusive in-game items and experiences.
Among the standout additions, long-time character Juri will receive a special Outfit 4 inspired by Aespa, available exclusively for one year following the event's debut.
Fans eager to customize and express themselves in-game will need to act quickly, as Outfit 4 for Juri is time-limited.
Expanding the collaborative flair, Capcom will also introduce Naevis, the renowned virtual artist and idol from Aespa's extended universe, as a new commentator option within the game.
With her distinctive style and presence, Naevis brings a unique crossover appeal to the Street Fighter 6 esports experience, enhancing the match atmosphere for fans of both fighting games and K-Pop alike.
"Beginning Friday, July 4, 2025, Street Fighter 6 will offer a special collaboration outfit designed with Aespa for Juri, available exclusively for a single year," Capcom shared in its latest press release, underlining the limited nature of these special items.
The collaboration event will also transform Street Fighter 6's online Battle Hub.
For the duration of the event, players can immerse themselves in vibrant, Aespa-themed decorations and backdrops, further bridging the worlds of competitive fighting and global pop culture.
Logging in during the promotion will reward players with unique digital items such as exclusive titles, device wallpapers, and themed photo frames, expanding the personalization options within the game.
Additionally, Capcom recently confirmed that franchise favorite Sagat will make his return in August 2025.
Fans can anticipate Sagat's new Fighting Pass content, which is also scheduled to be made available on July 4, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the Aespa event.
The developer also revealed an upcoming batch of fresh outfits for several fighters, building anticipation among the robust Street Fighter community.
With this latest event, Capcom cements Street Fighter 6's standing as a dynamic, culturally relevant title that continues to evolve and captivate its international fanbase.
The Aespa collaboration exemplifies Capcom's commitment to delivering fresh, cross-cultural content and interactive experiences on Nintendo Switch 2 and all supported platforms, following a year marked by major milestones and ongoing player engagement.
