These "Olders" are described by the developers as monstrous adults burdened by their insecurities and unresolved adult grievances, deepening the game’s themes surrounding childhood and the lost innocence of growing up. Onion Games' storytelling is known for blending quirky humor with emotional depth, and Stray Children continues this tradition.
