Sega and Bandai Namco Announce Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2 DLC Crossover at Gamescom

During the pre-show of Gamescom Opening Night Live, Sega and Bandai Namco delivered significant announcements for two of their flagship franchises—Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man.

The event marked the reveal of a remarkable DLC crossover, enhancing both Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2 with new content that celebrates the enduring popularity and legacy of these beloved characters. For fans of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the headline is the introduction of Pac-Man as a new playable DLC character.

Alongside Pac-Man, the update will include the notorious "Team Ghost," featuring Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde, well-known adversaries from the classic Pac-Man series.

Players will have the opportunity to race through a new track themed on Pac-Village, collect iconic power pellets, and even navigate the classic Pac-Man maze while driving the distinctive PAC-MAN mobile.
