Limited Run Games has confirmed a physical release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider for the Nintendo Switch 2, following the title’s recent shadowdrop to the platform.

The special-run publisher will offer both a standard physical copy and a collector’s edition; both versions include the full game on cartridge and bundle every piece of post-launch content.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider, developed by Eidos-Montréal and originally published by Square Enix, follows Lara Croft on a perilous expedition into the Siberian wilderness and the lost city of Kitezh.

The game’s narrative centers on Lara racing against the secret society Trinity to uncover the Divine Source, a powerful artifact said to grant immortality.

The Nintendo Switch 2 release is presented as the complete edition and includes all previously released DLC and season-pass content.

Limited Run Games said both the standard and collector’s editions contain the full game on the cartridge.

The publisher described the collector’s edition as including a steelcase, an embroidered Trinity patch, and a light-up Divine Source replica desk ornament in addition to the cartridge.

The physical release ships with all downloadable content: the Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch expansion, Cold Darkness Awakened, Blood Ties, Lara’s Nightmare, Endurance Mode, and Co-op Endurance.

The package also contains all exclusives from earlier releases—eight DLC outfits and seven DLC weapons—plus extras such as 35 expansion cards, an Extreme Survivor difficulty option, five Classic Lara skins, and the Tomb Raider III Reimagined “Antarctica” outfit.

Gameplay on Switch 2 preserves the series’ mix of exploration, puzzle-solving and survival combat.

Players must outwit environmental traps in challenging tombs, use scavenged resources to craft gear and ammunition, and choose between stealth and direct engagement when confronting Trinity’s paramilitary forces.

Pre-orders for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition open on November 6, 2026.

Limited Run Games will handle distribution for the physical runs.
