Revealed during the Sonic the Hedgehog Animated Shorts: A Frame-by-Frame Retrospective panel, the ten-minute project features Sonic and his core cast and centers on Dr. Eggman upgrading Metal Sonic using Sonic's data and the Chaos Emeralds.
