The compilation is scheduled to launch in Japan on February 26, 2026, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. A Celebrated Arcade Legacy Remastered for Modern Platforms Raiden Fighters Remix Collection brings back three iconic vertical shoot 'em up classics originally developed by Seibu Kaihatsu in the 1990s.

The collection features Raiden Fighters (1996), Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive (1997), and Raiden Fighters Jet (1998), all of which achieved substantial acclaim in Japanese arcades.

Each title in the collection will include both the original Japanese and overseas versions, allowing fans worldwide to experience every variation of these legendary shmup titles. New Features and Enhanced Content According to MOSS, the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection will introduce several modern features previously absent from the original arcade releases.

Players can take advantage of the ability to restart individual stages, explore a new 'practice mode' tailored for beginners, and access a unique menu that enables custom background music selection for each stage.

Furthermore, CRT display filters and a Tate Mode have been added, catering to purists and new players alike. A major highlight is the inclusion of 30 remixed and rearranged music tracks spanning the trilogy.

Renowned artists such as Soshi Hosoi, Kazushi Turukubo, and Yuki Arai have contributed their talents, adding fresh energy to the celebrated soundtracks. Deluxe Physical Editions and Pre-Order Details Fans will have the choice between a standard edition (6,028 yen) and an expansive definitive edition (11,800 yen) at retail.

The deluxe bundle packs in a 3-disc official soundtrack, a reissued booklet, interchangeable covers, original instruction card acrylic stands, and a new key visual by acclaimed illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin—recognized for his work on franchises such as Star Wars, Macross, Gundam, and Gradius V.

Each of the trilogy's games will also see separate digital releases, priced at 1,980 yen apiece. Pre-orders for the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection are now live across major Japanese retailers, including Amazon Japan, Biccamera, and Yodobashi.
