Pokopia Gardens Bring Pokémon Pokopia's Vibrant World to Life in London

The Pokémon Company International has ushered in a new chapter for Pokémon fans with the public debut of Pokopia Gardens, a real-world celebration of the cozy life simulation game, Pokémon Pokopia, following its successful launch on Nintendo Switch 2 last month.

Situated in Acton, London, Pokopia Gardens offers an immersive experience designed to echo Pokémon Pokopia’s core vision—restoring environments to create a welcoming haven for Pokémon and the community alike.

The collaborative project, developed with the aid of local organizations and businesses, transforms The Mount in Acton into a living showcase of Pokémon Pokopia’s cheerful aesthetic and gameplay concepts.

Open and free to the public through Wednesday, 30 September 2026, the installation encourages visitors to step outside, connect with nature, and engage with both familiar flora and iconic Pokémon seen in the Nintendo Switch 2 title.

The space aims to inspire a sense of community, environmental stewardship, and playful exploration—themes central to the Pokémon franchise and especially to Pokémon Pokopia.

Upon visiting Pokopia Gardens, guests will find thoughtfully arranged plant life, artistic installations featuring Pokémon characters, enchanting 'living walls,' and terrariums that blend botanical elements with Pokémon motifs.

For fans of Pokémon GO, The Pokémon Company International has partnered to introduce new PokéStops and Gyms within the gardens, available for the duration of the event to further integrate interactive play across the Pokémon ecosystem.

Peter Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing at The Pokémon Company International, articulated the intent behind the event: in Pokémon Pokopia, players build a harmonious paradise for Pokémon and people.

The Pokopia Gardens seek to extend that spirit into real-world communities, crafting an environment radiating the same sense of growth and joy that defines the Nintendo Switch 2 game.

Murphy noted that the team hopes visitors feel inspired to enjoy their surroundings and indulge in Pokémon fun, just as players do in the virtual world.
