The nationwide activation at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations commemorates 30 years of the Persona series with chibi-style character art, themed menu items inspired by multiple Persona entries, capsule prizes, an original short animation and a rewards-member giveaway.
The in-restaurant crossover draws visual and menu inspiration from Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal.
Specialties include a Weird Takoyaki Tempura Roll (takoyaki wrapped in rice and seaweed, tempura-fried and finished with mayonnaise, green onion and bonito flakes), a Rainy Day Special Beef Bowl (sukiyaki beef over rice with a seasoned soft-boiled egg) and a Calling Card Tuna Roll (negitoro and cucumber with tuna, mayonnaise, spicy crunchy garlic and fried onion).
Masocot mascots Morgana, Koromaru and Teddie will appear in a new short animation that plays on in-restaurant tablets after five plates are disposed down the plate chute.
Kura Sushi’s signature Bikkura Pon prize platform will distribute Persona-themed capsule prizes based on plate counts.
Guests receive one randomized capsule prize after consuming 15 plates, again at 25 plates, and then every 15 plates thereafter.
Collectibles include 11 three-piece sticker sets, acrylic charms and can badges; prizes will also be available for individual purchase in-restaurant, online at order.kurasushi.com and through DoorDash.
Kura Sushi Rewards members receive an exclusive offering: a Persona x Kura Sushi cooling towel and case with a minimum $85 in-restaurant order beginning Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, while supplies last.
The brand also plans a social giveaway on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026; fans should check kurasushi.com and Kura Sushi’s Instagram for rules and entry details.
Newton Hoang, Vice President of Marketing at Kura Sushi USA, said the company was excited to bring the Persona universe into its restaurants, highlighting the series’ signature art, characters and storytelling while entertaining fans with themed menu items, an original animation and collectible merchandise.
Kura Sushi notes its Bikkura Pon platform remains central to the dining experience and has helped the company serve more than 600 million plates in the U.S. The Persona series, developed by ATLUS and available across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, continues to be one of the most recognizable JRPG franchises in global gaming.
