Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac Announced for Nintendo Switch 2: Full Remake Arrives Fall 2025

Bandai Namco has officially revealed Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, bringing the celebrated platforming adventure to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Scheduled for release on September 26, 2025, this title is a comprehensive remake of the 2002 classic Pac-Man World 2, revitalizing the game with fully overhauled graphics, refined gameplay mechanics, and an array of modern features aimed at both long-time fans and a new generation of players. Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac continues the iconic legacy of the Pac-Man franchise, placing players in the familiar role of Pac-Man as he journeys across the colorful and perilous landscapes of Pac-Land.

The remake boasts six distinct and visually enhanced worlds, ranging from lush meadows to icy peaks and even fiery volcanoes.

Throughout each environment, players must outsmart the notorious Ghosts and ultimately battle the villainous Spooky, reinstating the game's challenging and whimsical spirit. In an official release, Bandai Namco affirms, "This is a complete remake of Pac-Man World 2, featuring new and enhanced gameplay, along with fully updated character models and environments." A standout new addition is the local 2-player couch co-op mode.
