Wii Sports Resort OST Lands on Nintendo Music Ahead of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort

Nintendo has uploaded the entire 99-track original soundtrack for Wii Sports Resort to Nintendo Music, a move that coincides with promotion for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.

The publisher posted a message on June 12, 2026, via Nintendo of America’s official Twitter account, saying players can "listen now on #NintendoMusic" and teasing "Next stop this summer: a relaxing stay at Wii Sports Resort!".

Wii Sports Resort originally released as a separate, paid follow-up to the pack-in phenomenon Wii Sports.

While Wii Sports became a cultural touchstone through its inclusion with the Wii console, Wii Sports Resort did not reach the same level of mainstream attention despite being well received for its motion controls and expanded activity set.

The franchise’s continued presence on Nintendo platforms underlines Nintendo’s interest in revisiting the Wuhu Island setting and its familiar musical motifs.

Rewritten from Nintendo’s social post, the company formally invited fans to stream the full soundtrack on Nintendo Music and highlighted the connection between the original Wii release and the upcoming Switch installment.

Nintendo Music has also been updated to be accessible in web browsers, allowing users to stream the newly added tracks from a desktop or mobile browser as well as through Nintendo’s ecosystem.

Several individual tracks from the Wii Sports Resort OST were singled out by fans and outlets after the upload, including “Table Tennis: Replay (Point) 2” and “Power Cruising: Opening Theme.” These tracks join a growing catalog of Nintendo-era music being re-released on Nintendo Music; Nintendo has recently added content from titles such as Star Fox and Super Mario Galaxy 2 to the service.

For players and collectors who want to revisit the audio identity of Wuhu Island without digging out an original Wii console, the soundtrack provides a straightforward option.

As Nintendo promotes Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the availability of the Wii Sports Resort OST on Nintendo Music offers both a nostalgic bridge to the series’ past and immediate access for fans exploring the franchise on Nintendo Switch.
