Nintendo has rolled out this week's European Nintendo Download Update, featuring a robust line-up across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U.

This update introduces highly anticipated retail releases, an array of digital titles, and widespread discounts for gamers looking to expand their digital libraries. Leading the Nintendo Switch retail offerings is LEGO Worlds from WB Games.

Priced at €29.99/£24.99 via the eShop, LEGO Worlds brings the beloved LEGO sandbox experience to Nintendo's hybrid console.

This digital edition is offered at a lower price point than the physical release, which comes bundled with two downloadable content packs.

These DLC packs will also be available separately for digital purchasers.

LEGO Worlds is set to launch on 8th September, expanding the Switch’s diverse library with its creative, open-world charm. Also debuting is The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ from Nicalis, available for €39.99/£35.99.

This comprehensive version compiles all major expansions and features selected mods from the PC community, delivered as post-launch 'booster packs'.

With a multitude of room arrangements, weapons, and gameplay variations, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ stands as one of the most content-rich entries in its genre. The Switch eShop is equally vibrant this week, presenting seven new digital options.

Notable entries include R.B.I.

Baseball 17 by Nighthawk Interactive, which offers accessible baseball gameplay and officially licensed teams; The Bridge, a physics-driven puzzle platformer from The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, and NeuroVoider, a twin-stick shooter RPG by Flying Oak.

Retro fans can dive into Double Dragon IV from Arc System Works, and the latest ACA Neo Geo classic, Blue's Journey by HAMSTER, brings cooperative platforming action to modern audiences. For additional customization, LEGO Worlds is offering the Classic Space Pack DLC for €3.99/£3.29, enabling players to explore classic sci-fi themes within their brick-created universes. The Nintendo 3DS welcomes its own headline retail title, Monster Hunter Stories from Capcom.

Priced at €39.99/£34.99 via eShop, this spin-off RPG aims to introduce the Monster Hunter franchise to a broader—and younger—audience.

Monster Hunter Stories arrives 8th September and features rich monster collecting and battling mechanics, as well as a colorful visual style.

Early download purchasers will receive an exclusive "Explorer Set" featuring Monsties with unique elemental attributes. The 3DS eShop adds Crystareino from KEMCO, a traditional RPG featuring turn-based battles and up to 20 character classes.

Temporary discounts hit a substantial list of titles, including Word Logic by POWGI and Adventure Bar Story from CIRCLE Entertainment, offering savings until later in September.

Additional 3DS Home Themes are available, featuring popular characters like Hello Kitty. On Wii U, Snowcastle Games introduces Earthlock: Festival of Magic, a turn-based RPG set in a vibrant world recovering from calamity.

The Gem Collector from TreeFall Studios offers platforming challenges and co-op features, ensuring Wii U players are not left behind.

A suite of discounts, including Drinkbox Studios’ Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Severed, round out the platform’s offerings. This comprehensive Nintendo eShop update cements the platform’s ongoing commitment to variety and value for players across Europe.

With top-tier releases, indie gems, and significant discounts, this week exemplifies the growing breadth available on Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
