As Yoshi interacts with these beings—letting them ride on his back, tasting them, or observing their behaviors—information gradually appears on-screen, slowly filling in the creatures' descriptions in the encyclopedia. The demo further showcased how creatures within the book are closely tied to their environments.

For instance, a Crazee Dayzee is seen covered in dandelion spores, visibly upset by this development, exemplifying a dynamic eco-system where interactions can influence both flora and fauna.
