The activations run July 23-26 across the San Diego Convention Center and satellite locations, with demos staged on the showroom floor and at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
At the convention center, Nintendo will host a launch weekend celebration for Splatoon Raiders on the showroom floor in Hall A at booth 235.
The action-shooter invites players to choose among distinct tank types — Power Tank for brute force, Speed Tank for mobility, and Tactical Tank for battlefield control — as they raid the Spirhalite Islands alongside the trio known as Deep Cut.
Nintendo is positioning the demo as both an introduction for new players and a celebration for longtime fans, with opportunities to fend off Salmonid foes, raid for treasure, and experiment with team-based mechanics.
Meanwhile, Nintendo is offering the first U.S. public hands-on for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the next entry in the Nintendo Switch Sports series developed for the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
Demos begin at 9:30 a.m.
PT each day inside The Pointe at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.
Nintendo confirmed that guests can try four of the game’s twelve sports during the SDCC demos.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is scheduled to launch on October 22, and the SDCC showcase includes a first-come, first-served queue for play sessions, plus live broadcasts of gameplay on screens along The Promenade.
Nintendo of America described the lineup as designed to get attendees moving, exploring colorful worlds and sharing multiplayer fun across both solo challenges and friendly competitions.
On July 23 only, visitors who have played Nintendo Switch Sports Resort can sign up for a chance to compete onstage against social media creator The Rizzler between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
PT; participants will be randomly selected by event staff and no prizes are being offered for that segment.
Attendees should also watch for a Splatoon Raiders–branded trolley circulating downtown to connect demo sites.
Between booth demos, outdoor activities and live broadcasts, Nintendo’s SDCC presence highlights the company’s push to showcase Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay and family-friendly multiplayer ahead of the October release window.
