Description

Nintendo has unveiled an exciting collaboration with acclaimed escape room company SCRAP to deliver a uniquely immersive experience for The Legend of Zelda fans: the 'Defenders of the Triforce' Puzzle Tour.

Kicking off in January, this multi-city event transforms renowned elements from the classic video game series into an interactive, real-world adventure for participants across the United States. Unlike traditional escape rooms, SCRAP's 'Defenders of the Triforce' offers guests the chance to engage directly with iconic Zelda items and beloved characters.

Players will have to find, collect, and utilize classic items throughout the sprawling event space to solve cleverly crafted puzzles—mirroring the progression and teamwork at the core of The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Groups of participants are tasked with solving a central mystery within a set time limit, working together just as Link and his allies do in-game. Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, expressed enthusiasm for bringing a new dimension to the Zelda universe.

"Nintendo is continually searching for innovative ways to offer fresh experiences to fans and introduce our cherished franchises to new audiences," Bowser stated.

He emphasized that collaborating with SCRAP enables the company to provide an original take on this legendary series. Following completion of the main challenge, attendees can capture memorable moments in a special photo zone and browse an exclusive lounge area featuring limited-edition Legend of Zelda merchandise available for purchase.

The experience aims to blend gaming with real-world engagement, cementing Zelda’s cross-generational appeal. The official tour commences in San Francisco from January 31 to February 5, before heading to Los Angeles (February 10–12) and San Diego (February 24–25).

Additional stops are planned for Seattle, Phoenix, Houston, Chicago, and New York, with specific dates to be announced.

While the initial wave of locations centers on the east and west coasts, Nintendo has made tickets for the first cities available now via the official event site, scrapzelda.com. SCRAP, internationally recognized for pioneering escape room experiences and recipient of USA Today’s 2016 “Best Escape Room” award, is known for engaging, puzzle-driven entertainment that invites collaboration and creativity.

The 'Defenders of the Triforce' Puzzle Tour underscores their reputation for high-caliber, themed events. For additional details and full event scheduling, Zelda enthusiasts can visit Nintendo's official website or the SCRAP event portal.

The 'Defenders of the Triforce' Puzzle Tour marks another milestone in Nintendo’s ongoing commitment to innovative, cross-media experiences for its dedicated fanbase.
