Nintendo has officially revealed the Global Jam demo event for Drag x Drive, an innovative basketball game set to launch exclusively on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed to take advantage of the upgraded Joy-Con 2 hardware, Drag x Drive stands out by integrating mouse-like controls into its 3-on-3 basketball matches, offering a fresh and responsive multiplayer experience that distinguishes it from other sports titles in the Switch library. Scheduled for full release on August 14, Drag x Drive is positioned as one of the flagship titles for Nintendo’s next-generation console, further cementing the company’s commitment to unique, hardware-driven gameplay.

Prior to the official launch, Nintendo is providing Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) members an exclusive chance to get hands-on with the game during the Drag x Drive Global Jam demo event.

This limited-time demo not only showcases the game’s innovative use of Joy-Con 2 but also offers players a first look at the competitive 3-on-3 format that the developer aims to make a staple of the platform. According to Nintendo, the Drag x Drive Global Jam demo will be accessible to all NSO subscribers who download the demo client via the Nintendo eShop.
